To our donors, volunteers, and the Department of Defense community:
The state of Maryland has issued mandatory stay-at-home orders beginning Monday, March 30th at 8:00 pm. While some of our essential staff will continue to manage critical donation activities, many of our auxiliary duties have been temporarily suspended. If you have been contacted as a match, or are currently proceeding to donation, contact your assigned coordinator or the emergency numbers you were provided. For all other matters - including drive and kit requests, address updates, and laboratory concerns - we attend to these matters when these emergency measures have concluded.
Thank you for your support of bone marrow donation – and please stay safe.
If you meet these three criteria, you can register as a donor through our program:
1. Age 18 - 60; 2. In general good health; 3. Affiliated with the U.S. Dept. of Defense
(Active military & dependents; DoD civilian employees, Reservists, Coast Guard & National Guard members)
Educated donors are committed donors - and is our goal. Learn more about every aspect of registration, donor-patient matching, and the two different types of donation (traditional marrow and peripheral blood stem cell).
